How the plans work
Six things and you know what you will pay. No fine print.
01 · What counts
A production document with a Hacienda verdict, accepted or rejected. A receptor message counts as half. Tests and retries never count.
02 · Issuer
Every taxpayer ID that invoices is an issuer, with its own certificate, keys and numbering. Your plan says how many you can have.
03 · At your limit
We email you at 80% and 100%. Upgrade or add a pack at any time; it takes effect in under a minute.
04 · Your files
Every plan keeps the XML, Hacienda’s response and the PDF for 90 days after the verdict. For the 5 years the law requires there is Archeion: included in Escala, Plataforma and Empresa, and US$5 per company a month on Inicial and Crecimiento.
05 · Monthly or annual
Pay monthly, or yearly with 2 months free. Change or cancel from the portal whenever you want.
06 · US dollars + IVA
Prices are in US dollars and exclude the 13% IVA. Every charge comes with its electronic invoice so you can claim the IVA.

What counts as a document?
Every production document with a final Hacienda verdict, accepted or rejected. A receptor message counts as half a document. Tests, retries and anything that never reached Hacienda do not count.
What if I use all the documents in my plan?
We email you at 80% and 100%. Upgrade your plan or add a pack at any time from the portal; the change applies in under a minute and the plan difference is prorated.
Is Archeion included?
Yes on Escala, Plataforma and Empresa. On Inicial and Crecimiento you turn it on for US$5 per company a month. Every plan keeps your files for 90 days; Archeion keeps them for 5 years and includes importing your history.
What happens to my files if I no longer have Archeion?
If you turn it off or move to a plan that doesn’t include it, we keep them 90 more days so you can export them as a ZIP. After that they are deleted.
Can you integrate Aster with my system?
Yes. The AstraNexo team integrates it with your ERP, point of sale, online store or own software, from US$500 depending on scope. Write to us and we confirm the price before we start.
Do prices include IVA?
No. Prices are in US dollars and exclude IVA. Costa Rican customers are charged 13% on top, and every payment produces an electronic invoice issued with Aster so you can claim it.
Can I pay in colones?
Charges are in US dollars by card. The CRC switch on this page shows the equivalent at a reference rate; your bank applies its own rate.
How does annual billing work?
You pay for ten months and use twelve. Included documents renew every month, exactly as on the monthly plan.
What is an active issuer on Plataforma?
An issuer with at least one production document that month. Issuers with no activity that month are not charged.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Yes, from the portal. Upgrades charge the prorated difference and raise your allowance immediately. If you cancel, your files can be downloaded as a ZIP for 90 days.
